Coaching Staff

Meet Coach "Sully" Ed Sullivan - Head Coach

I have been involved in the sport of wrestling for over twenty years. I've spent eleven years as an athlete and another ten as a coach/ mentor.

Growing up in Reno, NV I wrestled at McQueen high school where I graduated as a state placer in 2009. After high school I went on to wrestle at California Baptist University in southern California.

After college, I continued to work and coach wrestling and football for multiple schools in the Riverside and San Bernardino area.

In 2017/18 I moved back to Reno and that is when my career with Nevada Elite wrestling club began.

As a coach for this club, it is my passion to help people achieve their goals on and off the mat. It is my general belief that sports isn't always about the wins and losses, it's about the person you become along the way. Helping kids understand that they can use athletics as an opportunity to free themselves from everyday struggles while also understanding the importance of team building is something I strive to do.

Athletics has opened the door to so many opportunities while also helping to mold me into the person I am today. My goal is to provide those same opportunities to children while also showing them that wrestling and sports in general can be used as a tool to get a higher education.

Meet Coach Jeromy Mumm

I grew up in Sparks, NV and wrestled at Reed High School and went on to wrestle at Sierra College. I began coaching as an assistant coach at McQueen HS from 1998 to 2006. I  was promoted to Head Coach at McQueen High School in 2006 and will begin my 15th season in 2021. Since 2006, I have coached 29 State Placers and 9 HS State Champions. I have also coached 45 Regional Finalist and 19 Regional Champs. In 2011, McQueen HS became the Regional Championship Team.

I have coached with Northwest Knights and Team Nevada North and currently  enjoy coaching club wrestlers at all levels with Nevada Elite.

My goal is to promote wrestling in Northern Nevada and develop wrestlers at all levels from beginners to elite.

Thank you to my wife Christie Mumm and daughter Jordan Mumm for always supporting my passion. When I am not coaching we like to travel and hang out with family.
